Refugee care with Freshgrooves
Thermobile supplied air heaters for a temporary emergency shelter project in Nijmegen, managed by FreshGrooves. For heating and ventilation of pavilions, our IMAC-2000 models were used, equipped with the advanced remote monitoring system ‘Fleet Manager’ for optimal efficiency.
Refugee reception for 1,200 people in Nijmegen with Freshgrooves
We as Thermobile were approached to supply the air heaters for a large-scale project managed by FreshGrooves, a company specialising in technical and facility productions for events and temporary accommodation. The project involved the creation of temporary emergency accommodation for 1,200 people at the Winkelsteeg sports park in Nijmegen. Commissioned by the municipality of Nijmegen, FreshGrooves was responsible for the total implementation of the project and, with our advice, chose our mobile air heaters of type IMAC-2000 with EC fan to heat and ventilate the pavilions.
To ensure efficient and cost-effective operation, for this project, our air heaters were equipped with the state-of-the-art remote monitoring system ‘Fleetmanager’.
Environmentally friendly heating with GTL
At the refugee shelter, a conscious decision was made to use environmentally friendly heating by using GTL (Gas-to-Liquid) as fuel. GTL is a clean, efficient fuel that helps reduce harmful emissions. Together with ceiling fans and optimal air distribution, the heating systems ensure an even and comfortable temperature, which reduces fuel consumption. This combination of technologies makes it possible to both preserve the environment and minimise operational costs.
